Each person must be fit and mobile and able to walk several miles each day, therefore those older than 75 may be denied to come on the trip.

Children can come if they are accompanied by their parents and if they are at an age where they will appreciate a full day of touring. Those under the age of 10 are likely to find the intensity too much for the interest

Flights need to arrive at London Heathrow airport. Other London airports are not suitable unless you arrive a day early and make your own arrangements to meet us on the 25th

The tour will end in Edinburgh, Scotland so you could book a multi city trip with an arrival into London Heathrow and a departure from Edinburgh

If you wish to have your own room then you will need to pay the single supplement. If you do not pay this then you will be put in a room to share with another single traveler of the same gender

It is extremely difficult if not impossible to join a tour after it has begun. It is possible to leave a tour early however you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour. You would also be responsible for all costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving one early.

We will try to accommodate dietary requirements but in some places it can be very difficult to guarantee. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies

We recommend having access to money from a variety of sources – cash, cards and travel money cards are all commonly used.

Weather in the UK can be unpredictable and that time of year we could have a late summer or an early winter! Pack clothes for a variety of seasons and make sure you have something to wear if it's cold, wet and windy!

The UK uses 220-240V and has their own plug socket. You will need to bring your own travel adaptors with you for your devices

Just in case you were wondering, in England, they speak English! All tours will be in English with no translation offered (though translation into American English will be offered where needed!)
